What if Humans extinct Today?

Human extinction is undeniable, the only question is when humans will extinct. In 2010, an Australian virologist Frank Fener said, “humans will probably be extinct due to environmental destruction, overpopulation and climate changes, in the next century”.

But what if humans disappear today, how will this world behave without humans.

The first this that will happen, just a few hours after humans disappear. The artificial lights everywhere in the world will shut down. Because the power plants will run out of fuel and solar panels will be covered with dust. The only hydroelectric power plants will still remain in functional.

After 2 or 3 days, Plant and animal species that are dependent to humans are the most likely to suffer, and will start starving and wilting.  

Within 1 or 2 weeks the domestic animals will die. And the wild dogs will start hunting other animals.

Sooner than a month the cooler water in nuclear water in all of the nuclear power plants will evaporate. That will initiate catastrophic effects to earth. Strong nuclear explosions could happen, that will spread radio actives everywhere. But these radio actives will sooner disappear.

Within a year, the satellites around earth will start falling on earth. That will create a phenomenon of shooting stars or falling asteroids.

In few years’ time the crops we eat, would swiftly be replaced by their wild forebears, because humans will not be there to apply pesticides and fertilizers. Carrots will turn back into Queen Anne’s lace and corn may go back into teosinte (old maize).

In around 25 years’ time, 75% of our paved city streets and sidewalks will be covered in vegetation and cities like Dubai will be smothered in sand as “the desert takes what belongs to it.”

After 300 years, metal buildings, bridges and towers like the Eiffel Tower, without maintenance, will fall to the ground.

Until 10,000 years, constructions like Great wall of China and pyramid of Egypt will remain. The most likely leader of this earth after humans could be the Baboons.
